About block ID #9048230
[edit]{{unblock}}
- @NinjaRobotPirate: - Would you mind taking a look at this and giving me a go/no go for IPBE via anonymizing proxy please? SQLQuery me! 00:56, 5 June 2019 (UTC)
- @SQL: I guess that's possible about the elastic IP; I don't really know much about AWS. But this user seems able to use different IP addresses. Beyond the elastic IP thing, there isn't really any history to base a decision on. My understanding is that we typically don't grant IP block exemption on English Wikipedia to accounts without a substantial local or cross-wiki history. However, the functionary mailing list has been pretty easy-going about granting IPBE lately. There's an obvious Catch-22 involved. Maybe a short-term grant, like 3–6 months? Probably the worst thing that happens is we end up allowing a site-banned editor to come back for three months. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 03:08, 5 June 2019 (UTC)
- NinjaRobotPirate, Thank you very much for taking the time to look at this. I'm going to go ahead and grant for 3 months. SQLQuery me! 23:18, 5 June 2019 (UTC)
- @SQL:@NinjaRobotPirate:,Thank you very much! as an new English wiki user, I'll read the policy pages carefully, try my best to avoid any improper action. Have a Nice day! Biceii (talk) 01:16, 6 June 2019 (UTC)

IP block exempt
[edit]I have granted your account an exemption from IP blocking. This will allow you to edit through full blocks affecting your IP address when you are logged in.
Please read the page Wikipedia:IP block exemption carefully, especially the section on IP block exemption conditions.
Appropriate usage and compliance with the policy may be checked (through the use of CheckUser) periodically, due to the nature of block exemption, and block exemption will be removed when no longer needed (for example, when the block it is related to expires).
I hope this will enhance your editing, and allow you to edit successfully and without disruption. SQLQuery me! 23:19, 5 June 2019 (UTC)
