Information icon Hello, I'm Utcursch. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Rasgulla, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. utcursch | talk 08:20, 2 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Rasgullla

Please don't keep changing the region parameter to Odisha. As the references in the article state, the claims of rasgulla having originated in either Bengal or Odisha are debatable. utcursch | talk 19:12, 6 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you recently removed some content without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Wikipedia is not a place for advocacy. So, please stop removing content that are not inline with your personal opinion on a controversial topics.
Also, the use of quotes for POV pushing is not appropriate. There are also quotes which talk about Bengal being the birth place of Rasgulla. Those are not included in the article either.
Lastly, please don't copy-paste content from other websites verbatim. It's copyright violation. utcursch | talk 20:43, 7 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The quote in the question doesn't add any extra encyclopedic material to the article. It just pushes a particular point-of-view. There are also quotes pushing the opposing point-of-view. Neither category of quotes is appropriate for the article. There is a separate project -- called Wikiquote -- for quotes. Feel free to discuss the matter on the talk page of the article. utcursch | talk 22:27, 7 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
