Regarding the categories you tagged, categories can't be deleted until they are emptied. Otherwise they leave red link categories which are not permitted. Merano Ice Trophy Event

@Bgsu98Dear Friend, my name is Ekaterina I’m the organiser of the event Merano Ice Trophy Memorial Martina Barricelli. I had no idea that our event has a Wikipedia as I found it yesterday. I appreciate you giving the attention to our event but we have nothing to do with Merano Cup so could you please let me correct the page or maybe you could just delete the results of Merano Cup and the external link of Ice Club Merano because this is not us. This competition is dedicated to our colleague that have past away so this event is very personal to us and we would not like it to be confused with Merano Cup which doesn’t exist for years. I’ve already sent an email to Wikipedia and they told me that this is a conflict of interest. Thank you for understanding. Ekaterina Ivleva, it looks like the results up through 2017 are for the Merano Cup, and since 2022 are for the Merano Ice Trophy. Are you telling me that these are two separate, unrelated events? Bgsu98 (Talk) 13:52, 23 June 2024 (UTC)

Thank you so much for your quick answer. Yes exactly ! Merano Cup was organised for years in November, we are organising our event after the Europeans and before the Worlds. Next season we will have our event 2 weeks before the junior worlds. We are ASM skating club and Merano Cup was organised by Ice Club Merano and they are not existing since 2019.
