[edit]Hello, I'm SQGibbon. Your recent edit to the page ZZ Top appears to have added incorrect information, so I have removed it for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. SQGibbon (talk) 22:07, 3 April 2014 (UTC)
ZZ Top
[edit]Hello. I am at a library right now and every single source I've checked states that ZZ Top was founded in Houston. This makes sense given that their previous bands were based in Houston and that they were all living in Houston at that time. El Paso is pretty far away from Houston which makes it unlikely that they all travelled there at the same time and just happened to form the band there. Also, obviously your recollections are not considered a reliable source and when compared to the numerous biographies and autobiographies published in the US about the band I would think they are more reliable than one source from Poland.
That said, if you think you can make a compelling argument as to why the information should be changed you should discuss the issue on the ZZ Top talk page and achieve a new consensus. Thanks. SQGibbon (talk) 22:29, 9 April 2014 (UTC)
The article Mor-Taxan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
No evidence this passes WP:NFICTION/GNG.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
