Umar
[edit]Dear User:Betrayerofhope, assalamu alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. I hope you are well. Why have you reverted edits that clearly improve the flow, readability and reliability of the article? I've carefully made many small edits to this page in recent days because it was, in my assessment, clumsily written, repetitive, hyperbolic and poorly referenced. I have tried to tighten the prose and remove repetition and to remove exaggerated claims based on weak sources. Where no sources support claims, I've added "citation needed" tags. In particular, I follow the verifiability and neutral point of view guidelines. If you disagree with my approach, please bring your thoughts to the Umar talk page for discussion. I'm happy to work with you and other editors. But right now you seem to be close to edit warring. George Custer's Sabre (talk) 07:52, 29 December 2014 (UTC)
Your edits on the Abu Bakr page
[edit]Hello Betrayerofhope, I see you and George cluster are doing a lot of work on the Umar page. I hope you guys can work productively together. Now, the reason I came here is, I wanted to thank you for your work on the Abu Bakr page. The page needs to be more NPOV and your addition of Ibn Kathir's al-bidaya wa-nihaya was an impressive balancing act. Please continue the good work. Mbcap (talk) 16:58, 29 December 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Umar may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.
- List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
