I can't believe people have gotten their snot in a knot about the aggregation of raw statistics. What is next, not being allowed to calculate pi past digit 50? 1 != 2 20:29, 24 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well, that wording's not very civil, IMO. At any rate, so far there aren't many people who would disagree with you, although you wouldn't know it from the MFD: the same single user has angrily posted 18 times in the past 18 or so hours. It seems obsessive, or excessive, or something. This, coupled with his over 30 recent disparaging comments about Betacommand on WP:AN lead me to believe the MFD (by this particular user) wasn't made in good faith. I wish someone else (anyone else!) had made the MFD nomination. Firsfron of Ronchester 21:43, 24 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, you are allowed to calculate pi, but you are not allowed to publish your calculations. It is called Original research. You only may cite published results of calculations. As I see, in addition to disrespect to fellow wikipedians, you have serious troubles with understanding wikipedia most basic policies. Mukadderat (talk) 23:44, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No matter how many digits you compute Pi to, it's still only a slice of Pi. Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? 05:28, 9 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
