Your username

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Bespoke Sports Ltd", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it appears to represent an organisation rather than an individual, see WP:CORPNAME. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing this form, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. --David Biddulph (talk) 11:32, 1 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice. Thank you.

'Bespoke1962' is only marginally better than 'Bespoke Sports' as a username. Instead, you should pick a username that is unconnected to any organisation or product. PhilKnight (talk) 20:35, 1 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I was not aware when I signed up last year that my user name - Bespoke Sports Ltd would be an issue. Certainly it was accepted and I have made only limited attempts to alter the one page - Robert Dinwiddie - Golfer. I do have a professional relationship with Robert and my interest is only in ensuring that the public information displayed on his Wiki page is accurate and up to date. To this end I have added a more recent photo today, replacing the one previously published that was dated in 2010. If you would like me to change my user name from Bespoke Sports Ltd then I would be happy to do so, perhaps now using Bespoke1962 ? I am obviously rather inexperienced in editing the site, but my interests are only that the information displayed on Roberts page are factually correct and up to date. Please advise what I need to do next

As Bespoke1962 is not acceptable could I suggest AndrewJones or APBJones ?

Accept reason:

Allowing username change to requested username. Please put this request in at Wikipedia:Changing username as soon as possible to avoid re-blocking. PhilKnight (talk) 21:32, 4 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
