[edit]Hi, BertSen! Thanks for the comment! Unfortunately, referring to the Dutch wikipedia, where "it's been known for years" doesn't satisfy biographies of living persons. In order for the category to stay in the article, a couple things need to happen. First, if he's gay, it needs to say in the article that he's gay. Second, a reliable reference needs to be added to that statement. This isn't me being mean, it's just what Wikipedia policy states. Thanks for your help! -- SatyrTN (talk | contribs) 17:59, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
- Hi! If there's no reference in English, could you provide one in Dutch? Thanks! -- SatyrTN (talk | contribs) 15:47, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
- Awesome! Thanks :) I'm going to add that reference inline, if that's okay with you.
- No, I don't read Dutch - but I've learned about Babelfish, which attempts to translate. And Ouch - I didn't know that about the ref I found for Robert Long (singer). You wouldn't happen to know a better reference? There were several articles in Dutch newspapers about his marriage to Rutsaert - that was just the one I picked. Help? :) -- SatyrTN (talk | contribs) 18:59, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
Another question
[edit]You wouldn't happen to know anything about Jari Sillanpää, would you? I can't seem to find a reliable ref about his sexuality. If you get a chance, I'd appreciate your taking a look. Thanks! -- SatyrTN (talk | contribs) 05:35, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- Doh! Leave it to an American to confuse Finnish with Dutch. My bad! :) -- SatyrTN (talk | contribs) 14:27, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
Anglo-Spanish War (1585)
[edit]Hi, Ben. I confess I didn't peruse the sentence, which would have probably caused me to rewrite it, rather than just making that small change. Thank you. SamEV (talk) 16:28, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit]you were talking about a hint of criticism, go ahead and at it. should not be to difficult to find something. trueblood (talk) 20:14, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
I saw what you were trying to do at Channel Dash. You were on the right track, but the template to use is {{HMS}}. It is a little complicated but this edit should show what I did to fix it. – ukexpat (talk) 20:28, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
