Hello Nicholas! My name is Adam Ng, and I am a sophomore from Diamond Bar, CA pursuing a degree in Business Administration and Political Economy. Along with being an avid basketball and sports enthusiast (Go Lakers!), daily reader of the New York Times, and outdoor adventurer, you can often find me at local coffee shops doing work in my free time. Upon graduation, I hope to pursue a career in social impact consulting, where I plan to integrate business with philanthropy. Nice to meet you, and hope to get to know you more in the near future! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Adamng926 (talkcontribs) 16:01, 3 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome!

Hello, Berkeleynicholas, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Article issues

[edit]

Your additions to the technology governance article include passages copied verbatim or nearly verbatim from several non-free sources. This was detected by automatic plagiarism detection software. For copyright reasons, your entire contribution was deleted.

It's absolutely critical that you use your own words when writing for Wikipedia. Changing a few words doesn't solve the problem - it's still a copyright infringement if you preserve the structure of the original sentences. Please review the Plagiarism and Copyright training module before proceeding further. Thanks. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 13:26, 30 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at University of California, Berkeley, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. But what you added was true and thank you for your contribution. ily — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dungeoncomputer (talkcontribs) 05:59, 13 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
