Help
[edit]{{helpme}} Hey Wizard191, thanks for the welcoming. I was wondering what direction you intended on taking the Butt Welding page? I picked a low importance topic to begin, and after researching I didn't see any other direction to take the page then geometry based with a few paragraphs in common uses, which were much harder to find. - Hi there. To contact another user, you should leave the message on their talk page - in this case, that'd be User talk:Wizard191, which is linked from their signature, above.
- I have copied the message over there; I expect that Wizard191 will reply to you soon.
- In future, please use {{helpme}} to get general help - about anything - from any helper. To contact a specific person, use their talk page.
- Feel free to talk to helpers with this, if you like. Best, Chzz ► 19:33, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
- The butt welding process specifically refers to the process of welding two workpieces of the same or similar cross-section to each other via resistance, flash, or friction welding. The article may never get big, but it is different from the concept of geometrical relations for all welding processes. There are two links in the further reading section that you can use to expand the article. I hope that answered your question.
- As a side note, I don't know if you are interested in joining the Metalworking WikiProject. On that page we outline a lot of different metalworking articles that need expansion or other assistance. Feel free to poke around and drop me a line if you have any questions. Wizard191 (talk) 20:50, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
