WikiProject Latter Day Saint movement
[edit]Hello. I noticed you've made edits to articles related to the Latter Day Saint movement and thought you might be interested in participating in the WikiProject Latter Day Saint movement. This project aims to serve as a hub for collaboration on elements of the Latter Day Saint movement, Mormonism, Latter Day Saint history, doctrine, practices, and other cultural effects inspired by Joseph Smith. You don't have to be a member of the Latter Day Saint movement to participate. Best wishes! —Asterisk*Splat→ 22:03, 3 December 2014 (UTC)

Oregon NRHP article
[edit]Glad to see you created Layton Oregon Short Line Railroad Station article. WikiProject NRHP's coverage of places in Oregon is pretty thin, with many very-short stub articles, and many missing articles. Hopefully you know that there are some resources at wp:NRHPHELP that are often helpful in creating NRHP articles, such as an "infobox generator" which works to provide copy-paste-ready filled-out infoboxes, at least for NRHPs listed before mid-2014 (while this one was NRHP-listed in 2018 according to your article, though). Please feel free to join wp:NRHP and/or to comment or ask questions at wt:NRHP. Any which way, thanks for your contribution, keep up the good work! cheers, --Doncram (talk) 00:52, 3 May 2018 (UTC)

Regarding State Symbols
[edit]Regarding the UT State Seal and Wiki Template:Infobox U.S. state symbols recommendations for filling out the List of Utah state symbols page, in retrospect, I agree that the latest change needed to be reverted to conform to the UT Code section of state symbols, though only due to a technicality. I would though point out that the state seal contains a coat of arms, similar to the US Great Seal which contains the Coat of Arms of the US, which is an American-style escutcheon (shield) affixed to the Bald Eagle, Latin script, Olive Branch and thirteen arrows above a glory (see the Great Seal of the United States for the Coat of arms of the United States section with a full design breakdown). For further historical context, see the Armorial of the United States page. The Utah Coat of arms follows a similar conformity as it features an escutcheon (shield), supporter (US Flags), motto (Utah; Industry) and crest (the bald eagle). The coat of arms is embedded within an official Great Seal (see the 'Design' section of the Great Seal page in regard to republics), which its design falls in line with other US states and the Great Seal of the United States of America. -Respectfully Trace.estes (talk) 16:12, 21 April 2024 (UTC)
