- Sorry about that I missed it the first time through the Wikipedia:Featured lists. However, with the POV tag it looks like a candidate for Wikipedia:Featured list removal candidates. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 11:08, 21 November 2005 (UTC)
The POV tag is not a dispute over the accuracy of the information, rather, it is that the article is incomplete regarding the use of the various positions by homosexuals. The community is working on this, but lack of direct experience in these matters by the (predominantly heterosexual) writers and the lack of homosexual contributors to the content are the main contributing factors to the situation. Keep in mind that the article became a featured list because of what it contained, not because of what it hadn't yet included. It's still an incredibly informative list in it's admittedly incomplete state, and is still one of the best lists on Wikipedia. And it will only get even better (more inclusive). I don't disagree with why the tag is there, it's just that the tag then qulifies it for Wikipedia:Featured list removal candidates. Look at Wikipedia:What is a featured list, item #3. With the POV tag it beomes controversial and it also seems to qualify under #2 as it's no longer stable. Ignoring my error it seems to be getting quite a few reversions these days. That said, I won't be adding it to Wikipedia:Featured list removal candidates as I think it should be given the chance to change. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 12:03, 21 November 2005 (UTC)
Thanks. I think the other editors will take pride in having that badge of honor at the top of their article, and work even harder to maintain it. Bend over 12:06, 21 November 2005 (UTC)
