Managing COI in Wikipedia

Hello, Thank you writing. I worked for Allen Shoup at Ste. Michelle years ago and have also worked for Long Shadows, however, I was not paid to create this post about Allen, though he is a friend. Instead, I am a Washington wine aficionado and have noticed that the WA wine industry is covered poorly on Wikipedia. I thought it would be a fun project to post some well-researched articles about people in our industry, and I started with Allen. It wasn’t until I went back to Wikipedia today to write my next article I found issues with my submission. The article about Allen is very heavily cited from credible, third-party sources, largely from within the wine industry. I am new to Wikipedia and want to clear Allen’s name. My intent was to inform others, not use Wikipedia for personal or financial gain. What do I need to do to get this citation cleaned up? It is unfair to Allen. His online reputation should not be sullied because of my mistake. (Bellevuewinegal (talk) 00:35, 7 June 2016 (UTC))BellevueWineGal
