SmokeyJoe (talk) 14:30, 26 April 2021 (UTC)Speedy deletion nomination of METO (disambiguation)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on METO (disambiguation) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G14 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a disambiguation page which either
- disambiguates only one extant Wikipedia page and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic);
- disambiguates zero extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title; or
- is an orphaned redirect with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" that does not target a disambiguation page or page that has a disambiguation-like function.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Kadzi (talk) 21:09, 26 April 2021 (UTC)
- Hello, Beetheory,
- You should work on articles in the Draft or User space and move them when they are ready for main space of the project. METO (disambiguation) wasn't a disambiguation page when it was tagged, nor when I saw it so it was deleted according to the guidelines of Criteria for Speedy Deletion. If you wish to use the content that was on the page, I can restore the page and move it to Draft or User space so you can continue to work on it. But you shouldn't put a page into the main space without knowing that it will be evaluated by new page patrollers and tagged for deletion if a CSD criteria applies. Liz Read! [edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, such as at Talk:METO (disambiguation), (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Your draft article, Draft:Emad Kiyaei
[edit]Hello, Beetheory. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Emad Kiyaei".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. If you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 16:57, 20 February 2022 (UTC)
