No problem! Have fun! (you almost got the signature, just hit shift next time ;) Mak (talk) 16:14, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia tries to keep a consistent style throughout its articles. This makes it easier for readers to go from one article to another, and also makes the site look more consistent. The style on Wikipedia is to align paragraphs left, and this isn't changed except in exceptional circumstances. Mak (talk) 16:33, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You can put the title of the article you want to create in the search bar to the left and hit "go". If the article does not already exist, there should be text which says "You can create this page or request it." Click on the red text "Create this page" and it should take you to the editing window for the new page. Then, just put in the content of the article and hit save! Ah, ok. That's what we call a "disambiguation" page. It's basically a navigational tool. First check that none of the linked articles is the one you're thinking of writing. If the subject in fact isn't covered already on Wikipedia, create a page with a logical clarifier in parentheses, I'm guessing that Mode (literature) would be good. Once you create the page, you should add a link to it with a brief explanation on the main Mode page. Mak (talk) 16:03, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've fixed the external links, you just had small typos in both of them. Good job on the article! Cheers, Mak (talk) 21:05, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No problem at all :) Mak (talk) 21:10, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Mak. Just wondering how I put in the spoiler warning? Can't seem to find it anywhere. Thanks :)Bee Coz 17:27, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just add the template {{spoiler}}. Cheers, Mak (talk) 19:00, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Phoebe Sparrow, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Keeping Up Appearances

[edit]

Hi, I just wondered what you think to the new Keeping Up Appearances episode lead layout with the bullet points (on the episode page)? Because a certain editor is strongly against it. Don’t you think it looks neater? And easier for users to find information at a glance? Thanks. Edito*Magica (talk) 00:29, 11 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I’m having trouble with Updown as well. But you’re right, Hyacinth is eccentric and I have reverted his edits. He and Collectonian also seem to think that altering the layout on the episode page to bullet point form (as you’ve seen) is vandalism, when it is clearly better because users can find the air dates etc at a glance, rather than having to go through an entire paragraph. It also looks neater, I’m sure you agree. He has even reported me to the administrators board just because he does not agree with my changes! Ridiculous isn’t it? Especially when my edits are improving the page. If you want to see what they've put about me, follow the link to the administrators' board from my talk page. Thanks Edito*Magica (talk) 10:56, 11 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Table layout

[edit]

Hello, We’re just trying to solve a dispute with another user about the Keeping Up Appearances tabular layout , and would like your opinion on the subject. Do you think, on the K.U.A episode page, the original yellow tables were better than the new format? Or not? Your opinion is appreciated on the Keeping Up Appearances list of episodes discussion page, thanks. Edito*Magica (talk) 01:55, 15 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
