Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. Places to contribute
Hi, Balasubramanianrajaram. I'm following up a bit on the comments from Jonesey95.
I'm not sure the best way to better your English proficiency. You could read through some Wikipedia:Featured articles which represent some of the best writing on Wikipedia. There are also some tutorials and other help files linked at Wikipedia:WikiProject Guild of Copy Editors/How to.
If you'd like to try something less demanding, I started out with the Wikipedia:Typo Team. It's humble work, but even small improvements are improvements.
For other areas to help on Wikipedia, you might want to look at Wikipedia:Community portal and Wikipedia:Maintenance.

Hello, Balasubramanianrajaram,
CSD A1 is not a valid reason for deletion for this article. Please review Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion before marking any articles for speedy deletion. The criteria are pretty strict because they are only for uncontroversial deletion. If you wish to have this article deleted, I recommend you nominate it for deletion at Articles for Deletion. “List of highest grossing films”
Hey, i have removed some very unnecessary information from the list of highest grossing films article. The information is unnecessary and it shouldn’t be added. Edwordo13 (talk) 04:51, 21 July 2019 (UTC)
Summaries of critical response
Hi there, re: this edit, please avoid summarising a film's critical response unless you include a reference that says "Critical response to the film was ___". I'm sure you can understand that it would be problematic for editors to like a film, then go in search of positive reviews to support their own perspective (confirmation bias), to arrive at an unsurprising conclusion that the film was generally liked by critics. Also I would probably stay away from obscure, jargony ideas like USP, which I don't think most people would know about, unless their college major was marketing. I certainly had no idea what it was. Thanks, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:36, 1 September 2019 (UTC)
I've removed the WP:CSD#A1 tag you placed on this article because it doesn't apply. You've been told this same thing before. You have insufficient experience to do any CSD tagging. If you do so again, you risk being blocked.--Bbb23 (talk) 16:38, 3 September 2019 (UTC)

Jumping the gun
Please refrain from jumping the gun as this. I noticed you started editing an year ago, many IPs have been editing for years. Do not take anyone lightly. Please have more patience. Also, many newly registered enthisiastic editors, in their rush to collect as many hats possible to expedite their way to ADMIN role, end up doing too many things in short span of time without doing justice to any of the hats/roles they play, in the process anatagonising many other editors while being disruptive petroller/editors themselves through hasty reverts and warning. Always issue at least couple of advisories before issuing a warning. For example, I too could have left you an antagonising "dont jump the gun warning" with a warning tag, which will be a permanent record and will show up when you apply for ADMIN role. I preferred more soothing way of leaving this note. I am sure you got the point, please follow a similar cordial approach. Please 1. retract your warning, 2. restore my edits to Divisions of Haryana, and 3. in future please slow down, refrain from quickly jumping the gun before reverting the hours of work. Good luck with your ambitions, do it nicely please. Thanks. 222.164.212.168 (talk) 09:47, 16 October 2019 (UTC)
- Greetings. Thanks for the heads up. I answered your question on your talk page and I will restore the version.
- For starters I don't aspire to be an SYSOP. If you checked my user box (I'm busy in real life :p) before checking my edit counter you would've known.
- I don't do hasty reverts and place unnecessary warnings to anyone including IP users and your case was an accidental one due to the technicalities of the twinkle script which i mentioned in your talk page.
- You could add a Don't jump the gun tag but it doesn't apply to my revert and kindly refer the link for the meaning of the tag
- I thank you for your patience and your cordial approach.
- I retracted my warning.
- I will restore and improve the article to match Wikipedia's encyclopaedic tone
- I do not aspire to be anything in Wikipedia than an humble contributor
- Consider creating an account. Regards Beastranger (talk) 12:23, 16 October 2019 (UTC)
Dear Aranya,
Thanks you for the response. Thanks for taking curative actions too.
I did consider the following:
Reamining IP (PROS: less wiki addiction, less notifications, more peace, more "real life". CONS: sometimes being treated as second class editor, less privacy due to IP address)
vs
Becoming Registerted User (PROS: More tools and automation of tasks, recognition an d better treartment from fellow editors, more privacy as IUP address is masked by the regiustered account. CONS: one more app means more notifications and less real life, notifications make it harder to disentangle/walk away from editorial disagreements, more wiki addiction, etc).
For now sticking with being IP to maintain a reasonable distance from wikipedia while still be able to contribute as an editor.
Sicne the matter has bene resolved, let me know if you want me to revert/retract my original message, though I do not have tools etc to do so. Meanwhile this follow up response from me would serve as sufficient mitigation so that my original message above can not be misused/held agianst you in future. Thanks.

- Greetings., I don't know why you mentioned another editor but anyways I respect your point of view even though mine contradicts yours. Thank you and good luck. Regards, Beastranger (talk) 05:19, 17 October 2019 (UTC)
Rollback
Hi Beastranger. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! ~ ONUnicorn(Talk|Contribs)problem solving 14:51, 17 October 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you @ONUnicorn: for granting my request for permission of rollback for my account. I give assurance that I abide by the policies and guidelines of Wikipedia and I will look up on the above mentioned link for any guidance. Regards Beastranger (talk) 15:27, 17 October 2019 (UTC)
Double-check
Hi there, looking through these edits, though I know you were being constructive, there were some problems that were introduced in those edits.
- The first reference, which used to be ref named Eros, no longer is ref named Eros. Also, in the citation formatting, the title "Eros Gets Hold Of Suriya - Eros International Media Ltd - Maatran - Suriya - Kv Anand - Kajal Aggarwal - Ags Entertainment - Tamil Movie News - Behindwoods.com" is not the title of the article. The article title is "Eros gets hold of Suriya".
- Scrolling down to the lead, <ref>[http://www.bbfc.co.uk/releases/maattrraan-film MAATTRRAAN was changed to <ref>[undefined MAATTRRAAN
- At the bottom of the Filming section, you deleted <ref>{{cite web|url=http://www.ifilmish.com/a-short-break-for-kajal-from-shooting/ |title=A short break for Kajal from shooting |publisher=''I:Filmish''|date=29 June 2012 |accessdate=9 August 2012}}</ref> without explanation.
- In the same section, two other references went missing and became <ref>[undefined Maattrraan] and [undefined Historisk verdspremiere].
- Further down you removed the ref name from a nowrunning.com reference, and also refactored the title so that it was no longer consistent with the source, which says very simply "Maatraan Tamil Movie Review".
- Further down some of those Bollywood Hungama references where you added url-status=live aren't actually live references.
Needless to say, if you are using automated tools to make these edits, you should be double-checking that they actually are doing what they are intended to do, as you are ultimately responsible for any problematic edits you submit. I've fixed some of these here, but would appreciate if you'd please double check the rest of the changes you made and make sure that they all make sense. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 02:30, 1 November 2019 (UTC)
- @Cyphoidbomb: Greetings. First of all thank, you for fixing those accidental mistakes for me. Now on your listed problems
- I tried to fix those many CS1 errors and most title of the references had italic typeface. So, I fixed most of them but when trying to fix few of those errors I had this problem. I don't know whom to ask about this problem and since you're a Sysop, can you shed some light on this. So, when I tried to remove the italic typeface by editing the article on source mode and when I placed my cursor to remove the intended text text from another sentence was removed so I edited carefully. In spite of my careful editing the errors you mentioned were accidentally left behind.
- I mostly check any article I edit but I will try to be a bit more careful. Thanks and Regards Beastranger (talk) 11:54, 1 November 2019 (UTC)
- Hi again, I am not the most technically brilliant admin. You might want to open a query at WP:VPT to see if anyone might be able to help understand what went wrong. Regards, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 17:10, 1 November 2019 (UTC)
The last edit at "Illegal immigration to India" article
Can you explain this edit? I've reverted it. Looked like somebody else was editing using your account. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 15:48, 1 November 2019 (UTC)
- That thing is a new one for me. I have JavaScript Wikipedia:Recovering from Wikipediholism/reminder to remind me take a break once an hour, as I have started to edit continuously more than 5-6 hours without doing any other thing, as editing Wikipedia is addictive. I might have saved during the hourly reminder or the script might have malfunctioned. No, I think no other person access to my account. Thank you for your concern. Beastranger (talk) 17:53, 1 November 2019 (UTC)
- You are welcome man. I was like ..WTF... I should take breaks too. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 09:58, 2 November 2019 (UTC)
- Beastranger, this seems similar to the issues I pointed out a day prior to this notice. If you have any browser extensions that might be causing this, you might want to look into it. Also, the Visual Editor is notoriously buggy. You might find it easier to use the standard editing interface. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 22:04, 16 November 2019 (UTC)
- Greetings, Cyphoidbomb, as I previously mentioned in this thread, I use JavaScript Wikipedia:Recovering from Wikipediholism/reminder. I asked about those issues at WP:VPT, as you mentioned but I never got a response. So, I will remove the script asap and thanks for your concern. Beastranger (talk) 03:19, 17 November 2019 (UTC)

AfroCine: Join the Months of African Cinema this November!
{{Ivmbox|
Greetings!
After a successful first iteration of the “Months of African Cinema” last year, we are happy to announce that it will be happening again this year, starting from October 1! In the 2018 edition of the contest, about 600 Wikipedia articles were created in at least 8 languages. There were also contributions to Wikidata and Wikimedia commons, which brought the total number of wikimedia pages created during the contest to over 1,000.
The AfroCine Project welcomes you to October, the first out of the two months which have been dedicated to creating and improving content that centre around the cinema of Africa, the Caribbean, and the diaspora. Join us in this global edit-a-thon, by helping to create or expand articles which are connected to this scope. Also remember to list your name under the participants section.
On English Wikipedia, we would be recognizing participants in the following manner:
- Overall winner (1st, 2nd, 3rd places)
- Diversity winner
- Gender-gap fillers
For further information about the contest, the recognition categories and how to participate, please visit the contest page here. For further inquiries, please leave comments on the contest talkpage or on the main project talkpage. See you around :).Abishe (talk) 17:47, 16 November 2019 (UTC)

A suggestion on article creation
Hi Beastranger, I hope you are doing a good work in Wikipedia as I have noticed you have made it into the AfroCine/Months of African Cinema. Thanks for your voluntary participation and congragulations for your first entry. I also would like to give you a link which consists of requested articles in Wikipedia where you find numerous red links. So it is a nice opportunity to grab this opportunity and to make a mark as a prolific Wikipedian. On the other hand, I also wanted to convey about the recent death of Marathi playback singer Geeta Mali for which there is no entry in Wikipedia. I attempted to create for her but I was helpless as most of the sources only described about her death and how she died in a tragic car accident on 14 November 2019. Those sources revealed she worked as a playback singer in few Marathi films and exactly those sources didn't reveal the number of films and even the names of few films. I can recommend you to create for her by adding career section and discography section if you can able to get more info about her. Notability may also be a course of concern. Thanks. Abishe (talk) 03:54, 19 November 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you @Abishe:, for your wishes and I will strive to work for being a prolific Wikipedian. Thanks for the link for requested articles and I will let you know if I get the reliable source to create a page for Geeta Mali. Regards Beastranger (talk) 12:54, 19 November 2019 (UTC)
Sumo (film)
Well I noticed you have done fine work with the article Sumo (film). I just wanted to ask you whether will it be ok to say this is an Indo Japanese film because the film is also mostly shot in Japan. I just wanted to clarify about this from you because you are the author of the article. Happy editing! Abishe (talk) 16:52, 2 December 2019 (UTC)
- Well I don't know much about that but aren't the production companies and the lead actors are based on India. So I looked up for precedence and the movie Japanil Kalyanaraman was shot entirely in Japan but the movie is listed as an Indian film. Thanks for reaching out, Regards Beastranger (talk) 16:04, 3 December 2019 (UTC)
- Abishe and Beastranger, it is the production company that decides the film's nationality. For eg: Slumdog Millionaire is set in India, but still a British film because both its production companies (Celador and Film4) are British. Kailash29792 (talk) 04:09, 4 December 2019 (UTC)
- I apologise to Beastranger and Kailash29792 regarding this question. I was more confused when I saw a Japanese sumo wrestler in the first look poster of the film thinking that he is going to play the main lead role. I have clarified my doubts and thanks for the response. I understand that the production company is based in India. Happy editing! Abishe (talk) 04:28, 4 December 2019 (UTC)
- Abishe, no worries! Tamil films often employ deceitful marketing to draw more audiences. Kuselan was promoted as a Rajini film, and Butler Balu as a Yogi Babu film. Kailash29792 (talk) 04:32, 4 December 2019 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:HinduTamilThisai.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:HinduTamilThisai.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Begoon 08:44, 10 December 2019 (UTC)
- @Begoon: Greetings. As the newspaper recently changed the name, I don't think the image can be used in the corresponding article. I don't know want to contest the speedy deletion of the image. And if you look at this image commons: File:Hindu Tamil Thisai.jpg the image is falsely described as the uploader's own work. Regards, Beastranger (talk) 10:51, 10 December 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks for the reply. That's all fine then. The Commons image was deleted after you tagged it as copyvio. Cheers. -- Begoon 13:42, 10 December 2019 (UTC)
