We should only add films to tables once they have started shooting. In this case, Thalapathy 63 begins only in Jan 2019. --Kailash29792 (talk) 03:35, 21 November 2018 (UTC)
Good Article categorization
When nominating an article for Good Article status, it's important to add a parameter (for example, |subtopic=film
) so that the nomination will be classified correctly on the Good Article nominations page. Catrìona (talk) 15:04, 21 November 2018 (UTC)
- It is also important to only nominate those articles you have substantially improved. --Kailash29792 (talk) 15:56, 21 November 2018 (UTC)
Film article basics
Hi there, re: this edit, please note that multiple WikiProjects shun the use of "mixed to ___" phrasing, like "mixed to positive", "mixed to negative", "negative to mixed", etc. "Mixed" already means "positive and negative", so "mixed to positive" would mean "positive and negative to positive", which is utterly meaningless. Also, we are not critical response aggregators. We are not allowed to add our personal analyses to articles. The reference cited says "mixed" very clearly, so your attempt to shift the critical response to fit your personal opinion, is absolutely disruptive. Please do not do this again.
Note also that we do not take into consideration online user ratings, like IMDb ratings or Rotten Tomatoes audience scores. These can be artificially skewed. If you plan to edit film articles, you need to familiarise yourself with our Manual of Style for Film, as any deviation from community norms will be met with strong resistance. Thank you.
