Hello, Bearsca. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Habitually marking substantial edits as "minor"
[edit]Hi, I note from your User Contributions history that you are habitually marking all your edits as "minor", even when you are adding or deleting hundreds of bytes of text. This is forbidden on Wikipedia. It is misleading and potentially deceptive, as many editors use a filter to avoid displaying minor edits so as not to clutter their watchlists.
A minor edit is something so small that it will basically not affect anything that a normal reader of Wikipedia would even notice. You are allowed to add a comma (,) and mark the change as minor, even though such a change may in fact affect the diction of a sentence – it is left to your judgement whether such a change is indeed minor or not.
But, to take one of many egregious instances at random, this edit added 437 bytes (!) to an article, including The goal originated as a non-binding agreement among NATO members and states that each member state should aspire to spend at least 2% of their GDP on defence. Støre has praised this aim, though many commentators see it as conspicuous that it has received far more support and traction after Donald Trump and others have in effect made threats against those countries which fail to reach it.
That is *nothing remotely like* a "minor" edit.
