{{help me}} I don't understand why the beacon press page has reference and tone problems.

Hello, BeaconP. The concern seems to be that the article isn't written neutrally, and in fact sounds like an advertisement in some sections, particularly the lead. As for the references, it looks like two of the sources you've added are from Beacon Press itself - we need third-party sources to confirm that the information you've added is actually true, that is, sources that are completely independent from Beacon Press and Wikipedia.
I do appreciate your enthusiasm to help with this article, but I do need to respectfully ask that you step back from editing it. It appears, based on your username, that you have some relation to Beacon, which constitutes a conflict of interest in regards to this article. We strongly encourage editors with a conflict of interest to avoid editing those articles in an attempt to maintain neutrality within an article, which is one of Wikipedia's most important goals. Thanks for your help so far, but please step back from it and let other editors take it from here. If you have any more questions, please feel free to re-add a {{helpme}} template here, or come ask me on my talk page. Happy editing! Hersfold (t/a/c) 16:47, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Danielle Ofri

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Danielle Ofri, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD g12.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. hbdragon88 00:28, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
