Advantages of Christian Science
[edit]"Some advantages of Christian Science over conventional medicine include the fact that Christian Science healing is not reliant on the controversial practice of animal testing, nor does it involve massive state expenditure on health care, or the risk of "iatrogenic" (physician- or hospital-induced) ailments."
This is at best original research and at worst pure speculation. It may seem logically obvious, but Christian Science does not speak to this issue nor, to my knowledge, does the iatrogenic literature speak to Christian Science. At any rate it's not appropriate in the article on Christian Science. Digitalican 19:36, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
Theology
[edit]I really do encourage you to try your hand at Christian Science theology (or Draft:Christian Science theology if you prefer). I know it would be hard to avoid an original-research-ish tone, and hard to find good secondary sources, but it would be very interesting if you could manage it, and we could summarize it in the main article.
By the way, I wondered whether you were aware of Henry W Steiger, Christian Science and Philosophy, Philosophical Library, 1948. It apparently started as a doctoral thesis for Boston University. It's the only book I've seen about CS written by a philosopher (though I haven't read it). It might be a good source for the theology article. SlimVirgin (talk) 00:47, 17 March 2014 (UTC)
Thanks, I should have some time to have a go at this around Easter. I have actually heard of the book, though like you I haven't read it. I'll see if it's available from Amazon or the likeBe-nice:-) (talk) 01:20, 17 March 2014 (UTC)

That quote does not contribute significantly to anything. I understand you seem to think the world of MBE, as your other edits seem to suggest, but this is not the place. Drmies (talk) 15:54, 16 August 2019 (UTC)
