Bengali transliteration

[edit]

I noticed that you added Bengali transliteration to several Hinduism pages. Unfortunately, this information is undue for many of these articles, and I have reverted some of your edits. If you disagree, please feel free to disuss the issue on the article talk pages or the Hinduism noticeboard. Cheers. Abecedare (talk) 09:52, 15 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with Abecedare. Add Bengali where it really mattters, like for Durga, Kali, Chandi, Manasa etc. - deities who have an important part in Bengal. Add Bengali to articles related to Bengali celebrities, towns, villages, Bengali art etc. --Redtigerxyz Talk 13:03, 15 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Bengali Transliteration

[edit]

Hi Bauddha, please do not add the Bengali transliteration to English language wikipedia articles in a random manner. Thanks. Shovon (talk) 11:09, 15 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Krishna. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Abecedare (talk) 05:48, 16 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did to Krishna. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Abecedare (talk) 06:57, 16 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Krishna. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. Abecedare (talk) 17:54, 16 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Removed "The gopis felt attracted towards Krishna for his handsome physical features like lotus eyes, long arms and well shaped buttocks. They tried to attract him sexually and Krishna also fulfilled their desire by having sex with them. But Krishna himself was beyond all sensual pleasures. His love with the gopis" because it is WP:UNDUE, unsourced and possible WP:OR. --Redtigerxyz Talk 08:19, 11 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
