One something is published, the licence cannot be change unless you are the sole holder of the license, which in this case you are no longer. Anyone (including you) may use the text under the stated licence, but in this case that precludes commercial use. Travelbird (talk) 09:11, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
RAF Castle Camps
[edit]There are a few concerns with your current additions to RAF Castle Camps. Several sentences seem to be direct lifts off other websites and may well fall fowl of copyright issues. You have added little information about the RAF station itself and details of the lodger squadrons innapropriate to the article - more pertinent to the squadrons' pages and unnecessary to be duplicated. Take a deep breath and start again. 21st CENTURY GREENSTUFF 17:45, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
- Also, you have used infobox airfield and it should be infobox military establishment 21st CENTURY GREENSTUFF 17:49, 19 August 2010 (UT
Page isn't finished yet. Text was cut & pasted onto page for information on squadron stays at the airfield. As for the info box it is what has been used on other airfield entries on wikipedia.Battleofwolf359 (talk) 18:03, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
- Major problem here, the large amount of text you cut and pasted came from rafweb and is subject to copyright and it shouldn't be in the Castle Camps article anyway - it will all have to go. The airfield infobox should only be used for RAF stations that are still open and with active runways. If the station is closed then the military establishment infobox should be used. 21st CENTURY GREENSTUFF 18:18, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
- Looking at the site on Google maps it looks like 80% of the perimeter track still exists and there is a collection of buildings near the original station entrance that could be contemporary and now in alternate use. If you live locally some pictures would be useful. 21st CENTURY GREENSTUFF 19:02, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
