Image copyright problem with Image:43480038441c421fdd7230.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:43480038441c421fdd7230.gif. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. --OrphanBot 05:57, 19 January 2006 (UTC)

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:15, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
Lauren Shotton and Katie Bell
[edit]I'm afriad that source can't be considered reliable. As for Katie Bell, that page which you were looking at is a personal subpage of mine which I have not edited in many, many months; we took it out of the main namespace for basically being original research and personal commentary. I have deleted it now. I have no idea how old Emily Dale was exactly in PS and CS, but she looks about 15 or so, which would make her about 21 or 22 now. In my opinion, it's highly unlikely she'll return, but you never know. --Fbv65edel / ☑t / ☛c || 02:01, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

- Nick pick...how did you get it? I don't think she was in there though, that could definitely be Cho Chang. BrianY 02:16, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
Look up "dransy + lauren shotton" on google, that's where I got it, trust me that isn't Cho, wut would Cho be doing sitting with Slytherins?
P.S. sorry 2 give trouble, just trying to cite my information and not look like I'm bsing everyone.
Hello
[edit]I appreciate you trying to improve the title of "Places in Harry Potter", but if you look in the dictionary, you will find that "geography" does not refer to descriptions of a person's house or of a particular village [1]. If you would like to move pages in the future, it would be a good idea to discuss it first unless you are absolutely sure you know what you are doing. Thanks for reading. – Basar (talk · contribs) 22:31, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- No problem. I don't think you will be able to move it back, but don't worry about that I'll take care of it. Cheers. – Basar (talk · contribs) 23:20, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
List of other South Park residents
[edit]Hi. Thanks for your interest in the article. However, among Wikipedia's core policies are Verifiability and Citing Sources. All information in its articles must be supported by reliable, third party sources cited in the article's text. Mentioning the source in an Edit Summary is not sufficient, and citing another Wikipedia article is not permitted, as seen in the Self-Published sources section on the Verifiability policy page. If the source mentioned in that other article supports the material in question, then you can add that, however, that particular article is almost completely unreferenced itself, as the banner at the top of it indicates, and indeed, the information on the Japanese R-L matter has no source to support it. If, however, you find a reliable, third party source that supports it, feel free to add it to both articles. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 03:02, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Junpei Morita
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Junpei Morita, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- Notability in question - WP:BIO
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. February 2010
[edit]Please do not add original research, or your personal opinion or viewpoint to articles, as you did with this edit of yours to List of supporting characters on South Park. Original research refers to material obtained through personal knowledge, or unpublished syntheses of previously published material, rather than material that is supported by reliable, verifiable sources. Please make sure you cite a reliable source for all of the information you add or re-add to articles. You can learn how to do this at Wikipedia:Citing sources. If you have any other questions about editing, just let me know. Thank you. Nightscream (talk) 08:42, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
Anime guidebooks
[edit]Hi! When citing anime guidebooks please do what is outlined in Wikipedia:Citing sources - you need the name, the page number, the author, and the publisher. WhisperToMe (talk) 20:54, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
