Hi Basever. Did you read the advice you received at the help desk advising you not to move the article to the mainspace? I have moved it back to a subpage. It's at User:Basever/Max Siegel. I did this because the only other option was to delete it as blatant advertising, which it most certainly is. You need to do a lot of work before this is ready to "go live", if you want to make it stick. Please start with reading, WP:NPOV, WP:PEACOCK, WP:NOTADVERTISING and WP:SPAM.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 22:39, 5 June 2012 (UTC)
- It's better in tone but still reads like a PR piece. Putting that aside, it needs citations to reliable sources that are entirely uunconnected to him and which treat him in some detail in order to remain as an article (see also Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners). This is needed both to verify the information content and to show notability. If those sources do not exist, Wikipedia should not have an article. So start gathering magazine articles, newspaper stories, treatment in books and the like (not press releases or his own or his company's website).--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 00:08, 23 June 2012 (UTC)
Thank you for the tip. I made changes/additions to the references portion of the page. How does it look? Also, I want to add a photo of the subject of my article. I have both his permission as well as the permission of the photographer. However, I am not sure how to prove that on Wikimedia commons so that I can obtain a copyright for the image.
