GBS article submission
[edit]I seem to have been the first to respond to your GBS/flu vaccine article. It needs drastic attention if it is to meet WP standards. You may see my remarks at: [1]
As you seem to be literate, well-meaning and and well-informed, I hope that you will remain in the WP community, but, speaking as one who has suffered adverse editing and still suffers more than is good for blood pressure, I must warn you that if you wish to contribute to the very worthy ideals of WP, there are some unavoidably nasty patches ahead. Fortunately some of the denizens of the community are very helpful and even the nastier specimens mean well, so please don't give up too easily.

[edit]I have temporarily removed your addition to the Guillain-Barré syndrome article, because I have a number of concerns that I think ought to be resolved before this gets included. Firstly, the addition was in a style that one would find in patient information leaflet but not in an encyclopedia. Secondly, it lacked the correct type of sources for medical articles.
Please have a look at WP:MEDMOS (style manual for medical articles) and WP:MEDRS (sources guideline for medical articles). There are sufficient high-quality secondary sources (rather than unauthoritative websites) that answer the question whether GBS is associated with flu vaccination. Please discuss your proposals on Talk:Guillain-Barré syndrome in the first instance, but feel free to drop me a message if you have any other questions. JFW | T@lk 23:15, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
