Kaczyński
[edit]Now, I only realized where your nick came from now, so I guess you're Polish too, or at least quite familiar with Poland given your edits. Still, click the link in Kaczyński's talk page to see a clip where even his brother says he's not PM yet. You only become PM the day you are sworn in. As you (perhaps) could see it on TV this evening, Kaczyński did not take any oath, he is still only "designated". Bravada, talk - 21:13, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
In the article on Albert Forster you deleted my contribution based on S Herbert Levine's article, that Forster's death sentence was never executed but commuted to life imprisonment. Your summary of the deletion stated loftily: "deleted nonsense". Arrogance however crass, does not amount to proof. Unless you are in posession of a source refuting Levine's claim, refrain from deleting. Soz

Map of Recognition
[edit]Hi! I was very impressed with your map here and I was wondering which source blank map you built that from, and if it isn't on Wikipedia already whether you'd consider making it available for us to use. the current situation at WP:MAPS is a mess so we could really use such a nice aliased large and raster map of the world. Thank you. (Jestli máte problémy s angličtinou tak umím i česky, snad bych porozuměl polštině) +Hexagon1 (t) 07:41, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks, I've made it the primary source map for WP:MAPS. +Hexagon1 (t) 00:43, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

Map Software
[edit]Hi! Excellent maps. What software do you use to generate them? I commented at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image_talk:PIT_in_World_Barry_Kent.png about including US state and Canada province data for your tax maps. Bob Stein - VisiBone (talk) 12:14, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Barry Kent. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Barry Kent~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
