AfD Nomination: Hendy's Law
[edit]An editor has nominated the article Hendy's Law for deletion, under the Articles for deletion process. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the nomination (also see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Your opinions on why the topic of the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome: participate in the discussion by editing Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Hendy's Law. Add four tildes like this ˜˜˜˜ to sign your comments. You can also edit the article Hendy's Law during the discussion, but do not remove the "Articles for Deletion" template (the box at the top of the article), this will not end the deletion debate. - Once again - sorry I deleted the AfD box, but it said: You may remove this message if you improve the article, or if you otherwise object to deletion of the article for any reason. (I am new to this ...)
- I have got some references from presentations by Glenn Omura - I will add these to the page, but they are not published ... they were presented at the conferences so i suspect this will not meet your criteria.
- The Alternative is i can re-post this to an entry like pixel-per-dollar ???
License tagging for Image:Hendys Law.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Hendys Law.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 00:07, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
RE : Recover deleted page?
[edit]I could pass you a copy on your userspace to work on, and then when its ready be moved to articlespace. How about that? - Mailer Diablo 17:06, 26 September 2011 (UTC)
- Apologies for the delay, here it is. User:Barry.hendy/Sandbox. Once you're done, just transfer the contents back to the original article for recreation. Pls make sure that you have addressed the original concerns that resulted in the first deletion. Happy editing - Mailer Diablo 01:38, 27 September 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, such as on User talk:Mailer diablo, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. Hendy's law
[edit]The mention and graphic on Hendy's law was recently removed from the Moore's law article. I would be happy to restore this if I could find some good references to convince me that this is not original research. Please consider joining the discussion at Talk:Moore's_law#Hendy.27s_law ~KvnG 16:28, 1 December 2013 (UTC)
