Please use the same citation style as used throughout the article, namely the {{cite}} template. It's not hard, and changes and additions to articles and sources are expected to use the same style used throughout the article, if consistent. Also, when filling out the cite template, please include all relevant publication details, not just an external link with titles. Who is the author, the publisher, what is the work being cited, etc. Thanks. Skyerise (talk) 16:00, 4 March 2015 (UTC)
BRD process
[edit]Also, please note how our collaborative process, called bold, revert, discuss, works. If you make a change, and it is reverted, it is incumbent on you to open a discussion on the talk page. Reverting to your own edit without discussion is discouraged. Certainly when a second editor reverts you, you should stop and discuss. To continue to revert is considered edit warring, and if persisted in beyond what is considered acceptable, can lead to being blocked from editing Wikipedia. Even if you are "right". Thanks for continuing to look into how our culture and processes work here. Skyerise (talk) 16:15, 4 March 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop edit warring on Yasser Seirawan. I fixed the link in the citation. It goes directly to the online version of Winter's article originally cited ([1]). It does not need to be replaced, and you do not have the right to arbitrarily change an existing valid citation. Not without getting consensus on the talk page from all the current editors of the article that it is a superior citation. Skyerise (talk) 15:38, 5 March 2015 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Yasser Seirawan. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Skyerise (talk) 15:40, 5 March 2015 (UTC)
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

[edit]Hello, I'm Iryna Harpy. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to the page Vassily Ivanchuk, because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you.
