[edit]

False Friends of the Slavist

[edit]

Please have a look at wikibooks:False Friends of the Slavist. With your language skills, you can help us very much there, though there is not too much to be done. See also wikibooks:Talk:False Friends of the Slavist for details on what is still needed. Thanks in advance! --Daniel Bunčić 18:47, 1 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bulgarian politician stubs

[edit]

Greetings Barbov

I've sorted the Bulgarian stubs looking for material for the {{Bulgaria-politician-stub}}, and my count ended at 57 articles. Since WP:WSS's standard guideline for new categories is 60 stubs, it is very very close. If you or anyone else would create, say 5 new stub articles, the new template will be sure to be approved. (It might anyway, but reaching the number 60 will make it certain.) The articles don't have to contain more information than e.g. "XYZ is a Bulgarian politician. He / she has been a member of Parliament since ... representing the ... political party." Please remember to tag any such articles with either {{Bulgaria-politician-stub}} or both {{Bulgaria-bio-stub}} and {{euro-politician-stub}}. I've used the last solution myself. If the template is approved, I will update these articles to the new template. If you create any new stubs, please tell us where you listed the proposal. I'm listing a copy of this message at WikiProject Bulgaria. Best regards. Valentinian (talk) 23:52, 22 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Valeriy Nenov

SS

[edit]

Estonia

[edit]

Hello there.

I picked you randomly from the list of editors of Latvia in Latvian. Since your are keen in literature, you may be able to answer my question: How come Estonia is called Igaunija (or whatever) in Latvian? This has been puzzling me for a while. Paldies. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Barbov 81.173.248.41 20:20, 12 aprīlī, 2007 (UTC)

And Russians in Latvian is krievi from Krivich :) [2]. --87.110.160.105 23:02, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
