Welcome

[edit]

Hello, Baratayuda, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.

Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

There is a page about the verifiability policy that explains the policy in greater detail, and another that offers tips on the proper ways of citing sources. If you are stuck and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  SatuSuro 10:39, 15 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Are usually created after a number of articles can be put it - just one article is not usually enough to justify the creating - and if you are unaware - WP:CFD is not a friendly place for single article categories :( SatuSuro 14:00, 28 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Article talk pages - please do not blank article talk pages - if you do that you will be blocked if you do it regularly - article talk pages have material that other users need to see - thanks SatuSuro 12:36, 3 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Germany Invitation

[edit]

Hello, Baratayuda! I'd like to call your attention to the WikiProject Germany and the German-speaking Wikipedians' notice board. I hope their links, sub-projects and discussions are interesting and even helpful to you. If not, I hope that new ones will be.

Welcome to ARS!

Hi, Baratayuda, welcome to the Article Rescue Squadron!

We are a growing community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to identifying and rescuing articles that have been tagged for deletion. Every day hundreds of articles are deleted, many rightfully so. But many concern notable subjects and are poorly written, ergo fixable and should not be deleted. We try to help these articles quickly improve and address the concerns of why they are proposed for deletion. This covers a lot of ground and your help is appreciated!

If you have any questions, feel free to ask on the talk page, and we will be happy to help you.

And once again - Welcome! — Mikhailov Kusserow (talk) 13:04, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You are cordially invited to join WikiProject Eurovision!
Please accept this formal invitation from a current member of the project.
  • We offer a place for you to connect with users who also like Eurovision and facilitate team work in the development of Eurovision articles.
  • We also publish a monthly newsletter that keeps you up to date on project, member, and Eurovision news.
If you decide to join the project, please add your name to this list.
I hope you accept! — Mikhailov Kusserow (talk) 13:04, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Queen of Pop

[edit]

There is no need to add a number of same references when one is enough. The Daily Mail reference is more than reliable to guarantee the title, which, frankly is a PEACOCK. --Legolas (talk2me) 05:31, 26 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

US sales of Mariah Carey mustbe based on certification

[edit]

I have changed the US sales based on certification not ACTUAL SALES Because you cannot really count or monitor the sales everyday. EXAMPLE as of April 18, 2009(this is just an example) Daydream sold 7,952,623 units as of April 18, 2010 so today is June 11, 2010 so the sales of Daydream went up by some units so it is preferable to state the sales in the US based on certification not actual sales because evryday there are many persons buying that certain album and you cannot monitor them everyday.... Also I have made the fonts into its normal font not smaller because it needs emphasis.. Thank You....

Please, join the discussion here. Max24(talk) 20:55, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

September 2010

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Mariah Carey. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If the edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Please be careful you do not run afoul of the three revert rule with yours and User:Petergriffin9901's reverts. Please take this to the article's talk page before either of you cross that limit and attract attention and possibly a block. ROBERTMFROMLI TALK/CONTRIBS 05:27, 15 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your reverting on Mariah Carey - you've just hit your fourth revert and violated the three-revert rule. It really wont matter that much if the article isnt exactly how you want it for another day or so; so please take the issue to the article's talk page and work on a consensus. You've been actively, constructively, contributing for a year and a half... waiting a day or two for discussion (as opposed to someone noticing your 3RR violation and issuing a block) is no big deal. I've asked PeterGriffin9901 to do the same. Have a great night, and hope you all can come to a consensus on the article's talk page. Best, ROBERTMFROMLI TALK/CONTRIBS 05:47, 15 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There are 2 more sources besides the author. Stop trying to sabotage the page.--PeterGriffinTalk2Me 05:43, 15 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Very funny, you are regarded as a joke here on Wikipedia. Oh really? So its a "fan name" when we are adding it to Carey's page, but was a "credible title" when you tried to add it to Madonna's page. That's what I thought.--PeterGriffinTalk2Me 05:49, 15 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
