Raions
Hi BaomoVW,
there were some discrepancies on how the correct format for raions and their names should be. I asked that question here Talk:Kaharlyk Raion and then here Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Ukraine#Raion_or_raion.3F. Hopefully it will help answer your questions. Sincerely Gryffindor (talk) 08:11, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
- Hi there. In this case I go by name of the capital city after which the raion is named after. So sometimes it's not a simple case of removing the -(t)skyi part. Gryffindor (talk) 21:38, 13 March 2009 (UTC)
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Pervomayske Raion, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Pervomayske raion. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally moving or duplicating content, please be sure you have followed the procedure at Wikipedia:Splitting by acknowledging the duplication of material in edit summary to preserve attribution history.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 03:01, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
Please don't do cut-and-paste moves
Hi, thanks for trying to standardise all of the raion titles. But if you want to move a page say Nizhnyohirskyi raion to Nizhnyohirskyi Raion you need to use the "move function" otherwise the page history is deleted. See Wikipedia:How to fix cut-and-paste moves for more info. ddima.talk 03:38, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry about that.
- It's alright, just please don't do it again. It makes it more difficult on us administrators too. ddima.talk 03:50, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
