Managing a conflict of interest
Hello, Balablitz. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Sivakumar Veerasamy, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.
All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.
If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:
- Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
- Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
- Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.
Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies. Note that Wikipedia's terms of use require disclosure of your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. Miniapolis 21:21, 17 April 2015 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for April 26
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited S.N. Swamy, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Tirupathi and David Lowe. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Kota Hazrat Nizamuddin Jan Shatabdi Express
Hi Balabitz, I am having a problem on Kota Hazrat Nizamuddin Jan Shatabdi Express where we have previously come across each other.
Another user who I have had previous run in's with seems to be disputing/disrupting the encyclopedic content of the article.
Between 28 April 2014 & 22 May 2015, no one really had a problem with the content, between 22 May 2015 & 24 Sept 2015, the other editor didn't have a problem with the content and given the keen eye for detail possessed by the other editor {{[1] & [2] }} I cannot figure out what is the exact problem the other editor has.
I request you to take a look & let me know what is your opinion.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. Question over revision
Hi,
I understand that you've stated that some of my editions were not accepted. I'd like to know the reasoning for this as I do not see this as either vandalism or misinformation. The information which I removed from the page "Pallava" were mere claims unsupported by most scholastic studies on the matter. The citation for the information was also very vague and unprofessional. A very serious historical claim which did not cite any actual historical records, archaeological fact, or a scholastic source. The claim is made via a nationalistic website with a very questionable reputation and little to no factual evidence. It would seem strange to me that Wikipedia would have a problem with the removal of fallacious information as part of their policies.
Thank you for accepting my reply and I'll sincerely wait for your response.

Inflation calculations
Hi there, I've removed the inflation calculation switches you added in this edit. These are not widely used in WikiProject Film articles and there's no provision for it at WP:MOSIN. It also tends to clutter up the article, for instance, please note the infobox's |budget=
and |gross=
fields. Too much data and it's not crucial to know. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 14:24, 15 February 2016 (UTC)
- @Cyphoidbomb: Regards for ur notification in this. I was just thought of changing the currency from Western numbering system to Indian one per WP:MOSIN along with inflation calculation too. Was quite unaware of usage of inflation calculation in WP:FILM articles. Will avoid in future. Thanks a ton. --βα£α(ᶀᶅᶖᵵᵶ) 20:12, 15 February 2016 (UTC)
- Appreciated, thank you. :) Cyphoidbomb (talk) 21:07, 15 February 2016 (UTC)
