P.S. Just so you know, I reverted your edit to Relative pronoun, as "adpositional" is indeed the correct spelling. (See Adposition.) —RuakhTALK 18:27, 5 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AWB

[edit]

I'm sorry but your application for AWB access has been declined at this time. We have a 500 edit margin for good reason. It is too powerful a tool to be given to a very new user as the potential to do serious harm accidentally is very high. Also it is only really useful for sorting lists and making lots of similar/identical changes and is of very limited benefit to editors adding content to the project. I'm afraid that you will need to wait a bit before we can give you the tool but if you need something doing you are welcome to drop me a note on my talk page - not that I understand regexs or anything but there are lots of people around who do. Please do not be put off by this, this is no reflection on you as an editor, simply that experience has shown us that it is better for new editors to get the hang of the place a bit before being given access to this kind of gizmo. A tag has been placed on Guangzhou 109 High School, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this. HalfShadow (talk) 03:30, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Spelling fixes

[edit]

Hello, Balabinda. I noticed on the Zhuge Liang discussion article that you recently corrected the spelling of word. Just thought you'd like to know that this is unnecessary, as these sections are really only useful for discussing improvements to the article proper. I don't think anybody would mind either way, but, to be honest, you'll only be wasting your time. Just thought you should know. Gamer Junkie T / C 04:23, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Guangdong University of Technology, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://web.gdut.edu.cn/~wsc/english/introduction.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. The article Museum of the Western Han Dynasty Mausoleum of the Nanyue King has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. J Milburn (talk) 02:43, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Notice

The file File:London DT.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 12 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
