Australian Formula 4

[edit]

Won't happen in 2015 and there has been little to no interest from Australian racing teams and drivers. No winner for the AF4 tender has been announced five months after it was issued and the Formula Ford championship is continuing under a new name. Stating F4 has or will replace F-Ford is exceedingly premature. --Falcadore (talk) 04:06, 13 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of 2015 Florida Winter Series season

[edit]

The article 2015 Florida Winter Series season has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The series cancelled for 2015 http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/116653

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hello, Bakete. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, 2016 French F4 Championship season, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. SuperHero👊 11:09, 26 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

In accordance with our policy that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. Copy and paste move of BOSS GP

[edit]

Hello Bakete. Please note that your recent redirection of long established BOSS GP article to the newly created BOSS GP Series is not the way to deal with either duplicated articles or page moves. This effectively created a copy and paste move, which splits the page history, and even though you were not the editor who created the new article, by redirecting the old article you potentially could have caused a mess.

If an article has been duplicated and it has been newly created, you can tag the duplication for speedy deletion under WP:CSD#A11. If you think the old article should use the title of the new article, you can tag the new article under WP:CSD#G6, where it will be temporarily deleted to make room for the move. If you're dealing with two older articles with independent edit histories, or for anything more complex, then use the history merge template or list it at requests for history merge, where an admin will take care of it.

I've made a request for deletion on BOSS GP Series, to properly move BOSS GP to the new title, since I gathered that was your intention. Thanks. QueenCake (talk) 17:46, 10 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
