Jet
[edit]"For example, the episode "Lake Laogai" deals with the nefarious Long Feng, who brainwashes Jet and eventually kills him—not the usual stuff of children's shows."
This was written by the author of the article and was not quoted by DiMartino. It is what he assumed when he saw the show and tried to use for an example. Therefore, Jet's fate has not been confirmed by the show or its creators. And I doubt the authors of sci-fi articles count as an official source.
- Most writers of articles check their sources just like we do, and not just write random assumptions. All evidence supports that Jet is dead, and now we have someone saying it... what are we supposed to think? Bagpipeturtle 19:22, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
This wasn't stated officially by any of the show's creators. We can't say that he's officially dead unless the people on the show actually come out and say it directly!
Jet's death
[edit]Can you send me an official source confirming Jet's death? You know, not just it saying it was confirmed, but showing it?Darth G 03:52, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
- Um, I don't know where an official source was. I never added it to the page, just changed the sentence around to make it flow better. Sorry. Bagpipeturtle 04:13, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
- I checked in the history, and it was IP address 69.227.2.233 who added it. Bagpipeturtle 04:16, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

AfD nomination of List of Avatar: The Last Airbender creatures
[edit]An editor has nominated List of Avatar: The Last Airbender creatures, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Avatar: The Last Airbender creatures and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 00:00, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
Survey
[edit]Hi Bagpipeturtle!
I have put together a survey for female editors of Wikipedia (and related projects) in order to explore, in greater detail, women's experiences and roles within the Wikimedia movement. It'd be wonderful if you could participate!
It's an independent survey, done by me, as a fellow volunteer Wikimedian. It is not being done on behalf of the Wikimedia Foundation. I hope you'll participate!
Just click this link to participate in this survey, via Google!
Any questions or concerns, feel free to email me or stop by my user talk page. Also, feel free to share this any other female Wikimedians you may know. It is in English, but any language Wikimedia participants are encouraged to participate. I appreciate your contributions - to the survey and to Wikipedia! Thank you! Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hi. We're into the last five days of the Women in Red World Contest. There's a new bonus prize of $200 worth of books of your choice to win for creating the most new women biographies between 0:00 on the 26th and 23:59 on 30th November. If you've been contributing to the contest, thank you for your support, we've produced over 2000 articles. If you haven't contributed yet, we would appreciate you taking the time to add entries to our articles achievements list by the end of the month. Thank you, and if participating, good luck with the finale!
The article The Bracelet of Bordeaux has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails WP:GNG and WP:NFO. Little coverage in reliable sources; no reviews by nationally known critics.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Magnolia677 (talk) 09:18, 6 December 2022 (UTC)
