Tadeusz Kościuszko

[edit]

Hello :-) Sorry to disturb you, it's just that I see you are involved in many Belarusian topics so I hoped that you could take part in it.

As you know, Kościuszko came from Belarusian ethnicity. It was discussed on the talk page of the article in the past and the information was their, but suddenly some guy came with a dynamic anonymous IP and he keeps on deleting it using weird arguments like "Belarusians didn't exist then" (which is not true, due to the fact Belarusians simply had a different name and it was discussed on the talk page" or "his family was polonized" (which is also true, but it doesnt change the fact he came from an ethnically Belarusian family.

I really don't know how to deal with such a situation, could you maybe help me by getting involved in the discussion page or by helping to bring more references (not that we don't have enough) on the topic?

You can see what he does and writes here: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Tadeusz_Ko%C5%9Bciuszko&action=history

At the end of the day, what Wikipedia is about is giving reliable sources to backup relevant information, and I just don't know how to deal with a guy who is obviously a nationalist who thinks he can simply delete information which he finds uncomfortable for him to digest.
