The article Divorced Guys has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Too vague and tentative as yet. No evidence this has begun principal filming yet or is somehow notable for independent reasons; delete per WP:NFF.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Glenfarclas (talk) 21:19, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
Articles for deletion nomination of Divorced Guys
[edit]I have nominated Divorced Guys, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Divorced Guys. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Glenfarclas (talk) 21:31, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
December 2009
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles as you did with Divorced Guys. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Glenfarclas (talk) 01:50, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
- I see you removed this tag again. I have restored it. I also restored the {{crystal}} tag which you also removed. See a note on Talk:Divorced Guys with an explanation.
- Removing such tags is against long-established custom here. These tags serve to notify other users that there is an ongoing deletion discussion and that the article talks about a future event. I realize you are a new editor and are not aware of such customs, so I'm not going to harp on you further about this. However, if you do it again, you may be subject to a block from editing or ban from editing this page and related pages for a period of time. I hope this doesn't happen, as I admire the effort you have put into the project so far. It's unfortunate that future films are generally not welcome unless they are "famous in their own right."
Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Divorced Guys. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 23:42, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
We need your help
[edit]Have you considered looking at wanted articles or needed articles to see if there are any topics you are interested in, or looked through the sub-categories of Category:Articles to be expanded or Category:Stub categories to see if there are any small articles you can expand? We need your help in these areas. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 22:12, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Nasty (internet rapper)
[edit]A tag has been placed on Nasty (internet rapper) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 17:01, 19 December 2009 (UTC)
File copyright problem with File:Fredwolf.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Fredwolf.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. File source problem with File:Grown ups.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Grown ups.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 01:52, 2 January 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 01:52, 2 January 2010 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Hit Somebody
[edit]A tag has been placed on Hit Somebody requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}

Fair use rationale for File:Theotherguysposter.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Theotherguysposter.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 04:30, 31 March 2010 (UTC)
Nomination of Hit Somebody for deletion
[edit]A discussion has begun about whether the article Hit Somebody, which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Hit Somebody until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.
You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. BOVINEBOY2008 08:50, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
