License tagging for Image:Stpeters.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Stpeters.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Vandalism Cleanup
[edit]Hi
I'm not a Wikipedia staff member, but I do clean up vandalism extensively. There's no requirements to helping Wikipedia clean up vandalism, if you check out WP:CUV there's nots of information on how to help. Cheers Canadian-Bacon (contribs) 17:42, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
- Normally I would direct you to the Counter-Vandalism Unit but unfortunately many users feel that it should be taken down, and a formal discussion is being held about deleting it. If it is deleted there would be no more "patrol" so I can't really send you anywhere. Sorry for the inconveniance. Canadian-Bacon t c e 07:15, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit]It's a good article on the DVD, the only problem is the image you uploaded. I recomend using this {{dvdcover}} in the future for DVD covers. I've done in myself in this case to make things easier. Canadian-Bacon t c e 00:51, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
Orphaned fair use image (Image:20903-large.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:20903-large.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 06:58, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

Wikimedians to the Games
[edit]I'd like to invite you to participate Wikimedians to the Games :) It is a great opportunity to help improve Australian related content, and potentially to travel to attend the second biggest sporting event of the year. As you're an existing Wikipedian editor, you should have some advantage because you should know how to contribute and improve articles already. :) If you get to a certain point threshold, there is also a possiblity to travel to Canberra to attend a workshop at the Australian Institute of Sport. --LauraHale (talk) 09:57, 16 January 2012 (UTC)
