Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Please make sure to include an edit summary. Please provide one before saving your changes to an article, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history. Thanks! -- Alan Liefting (talk - contribs) 06:34, 16 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Snakehead (gang), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Fiasco (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Dassault Rafale may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

French Bulldog

[edit]

Please see the note left by Dodo bird on the talk page of French Bulldog about reliable sources; a breeder's personal website cannot be used as a reference and dogbreedinfo.com must not be used at all. I haven't checked all of the additions you made but a couple that I noticed were almost identically worded to the source; please only add information that is in your own words, not copied. I have also removed the list of celebrities as it is trivia. I know it's frustrating to have someone come along behind you removing information and I appreciate that you've been trying to improve the article but there are certain guidelines that do have to be followed. If you have any queries, the Teahouse is a good place to ask - many experienced, helpful editors are there and will quickly answer any questions you may have. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article, Maritime call signs. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. However, keep in mind that even on the talk page of an article, you should limit your discussion to improving the article. Article talk pages are not the place to discuss opinions of the subject of articles, nor are such pages a forum. Thank you. SummerPhDv2.0 23:49, 3 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Doniago. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to the main body of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea: Submarine Voyage. Generally, any relevant external links should be listed in an "External links" section at the end of the article and meet the external links guidelines. Links within the body of an article should be internal Wikilinks. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Adding unsourced material

[edit]

Please provide sources when adding new material regarding state symbols. The chocolate chip cookie was proposed but never adopted as a PA state symbol. [1] [2]. OhNoitsJamie Talk 17:26, 1 February 2018 (UTC) -- Thanks, you are correct. BTRand1[reply]

You are welcome to import appropriate public domain content to articles, but in order to meet the Wikipedia guideline on plagiarism, such content must be fully attributed. This requires not only acknowledging the source, but acknowledging that the source is copied. There are several methods to do this described at Wikipedia:Plagiarism#Public-domain sources, including the usage of an attribution template. Please make sure that any public domain content you have already imported is fully attributed. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 14:56, 8 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
