Oxford/shire Gliding Club
[edit]Good Evening
Yesterday you created the Oxfordshire Gliding Club article with no references however today you had added a link to their about us page. Earlier i checked their website which says their name is Oxford Gliding Club not Oxfordshire. This will be changed shortly unless you object with a valid explanation.

- I am a member at the gliding club, and I am wondering if I can use this in the references, and the citations. Is this possible or not?
- Yes you can use the website but not too many related to the website. Try and add some news references from some major newspapers/broadcasters like the BBC or The Daily Telegraph which are not related to the club. Gavbadger (talk) 21:18, 15 November 2012 (UTC)
BFV123, you are invited to the Teahouse
[edit]Hi BFV123! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. |
The article Skylaunch has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- As written, this primarily self-referenced article clearly fails Wikipedia:Notability (organization). Wikipedia is not Yellow Pages.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
