[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that the username you have chosen, "BBGLordsofWar", seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of something other than yourself. Please note that you may not edit on behalf of a company, group, institution, product, or website which relates to the entity in question, and Wikipedia does not allow usernames that are promotional or accounts that are shared. If you are willing to use a personal account, please take a moment to create a new account or request a username change that represents only yourself as an individual. You should also read our Conflict of interest guideline and Plain and simple conflict of interest guide, and remember that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 17:59, 5 July 2013 (UTC)
Hi Mufka - I am representing the company, Black Box Games, but am unsure if I have submitted material which represents a COI. I work as a copywriter by day, and of course recognise that Wikipedia has a distinct and individual policy as relates to COI, but have tried to write the article objectively - if bias is the issue, of course. If, instead, it is the name itself then please advise me and I will request a name change. (All my previous Wikipedia editing has been done anonymously, but I created the username as I was uploading the images to the Lords of War page and wanted there to be no ambiguity for other Wikipedia users that the materials, imagery, etc, were genuine and free for the use of others). The creation of the article at all was prompted by the global distribution of the game, which will commence in the next 2 weeks. I believe Wikipedia represents the correct hub for information about the game, unlike our website (which is a marketing tool). Furthermore, that others can amend the article, once created, is something I am keen to see, and I am keen also to create/contribute to pages concerning the UK board game industry, which seems poorly represented (particularly the long-running games fairs and conventions, such as Salute, the UK Games Expo, Dragonmeet and Colours - the big four). Please let me know if editing under the current username would be an issue moving forward in this regard too. Thanks!
