Speedy deletion nomination of Ranger Unit
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice that Ranger Unit, a page that you created, has been tagged for deletion. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It is unambiguous vandalism or an obvious hoax. (See section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please do not introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia; doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ☾Loriendrew☽ ☏(ring-ring) 00:55, 5 October 2016 (UTC)

This will allow you to make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. ☾Loriendrew☽ ☏(ring-ring) 01:14, 5 October 2016 (UTC)
- I see that at Talk:Ranger Unit you wrote "How can I make this page fit with Wikipedia guidelines?" The answer, I'm afraid, is that you can't. Problems with the writing of an article may be corrected by rewriting the article, but no amount of rewriting an article can change the notability of the subject of the article, and in this case the subject is clearly not remotely notable. You would be better off trying to publicise your "micronation" somewhere else, such as in a blog, because Wikipedia does not exist to enable people to publicise trivia that they make up.
