Hey. I noticed your attempts to delete the Involvement in violence section of the page. Rather than repeatedly trying to delete it, you should dispute its neutrality on the talk page to avoid edit wars. You could be blocked for edit warring. – FenixFeather (talk)(Contribs) 05:40, 25 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Dr. S.K Kareem Khan, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Speedy deletion nomination of Dr. S.K Kareem Khan

[edit]

Hello Azzharee,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Dr. S.K Kareem Khan for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

I would suggest starting any potential articles as a WP:DRAFT rather than in mainspace. Avoid any promotional language. Refer to the drafts's subject in objective terms. TornadoLGS (talk) 05:11, 4 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Azzharee -- I've moved your draft to draftspace for you, so that you can work on it without as much disruption. You can edit it at Draft:Dr. S.K Kareem Khan. As others have said above, write neutrally, and base everything on reliable sources (eg books or newspaper/magazine articles) that are independent of the subject. Your opinion of the subject's worth is not relevant, what matters is what reliable sources have written. Always cite your sources, preferably inline, to make a reference list, so that readers know where what you write derives from. Hope this helps! If you need help with editing then the Teahouse is a forum for newcomers. Regards, Espresso Addict (talk) 06:34, 4 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I've just realised that I've deleted a draft from you on this topic earlier; I've taken another look at it, and you would genuinely be better starting from scratch.
By the way, if you want to talk to another editor there are two ways:
  • go to their talk page and write your message there; mine is at User talk:Espresso Addict. This is the most reliable way. (Most editors link their talk page in their signature.)
  • use the pinging function to notify someone that you are addressing them; to ping me, type {{ping|Espresso Addict}} in a message at the same time as signing it using ~~~~. Be aware, though: This only works if you sign at the same time and get the user id correct, and even so it can sometimes go astray, and some editors have turned it off. See Help:Notifications for more details.
