February 2023

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Winton M. Blount. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. I don't know what you are doing with those postmasters, but you sure didn't explain it. Drmies (talk) 02:16, 12 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The Postmasters numbers were wrong. If you look on the list of U.S. Postmaster Generals on Wikipedia, you'll see that Winton Blount is #62. But for some reason on Blount's page, he is listed as 59th. The list of Postmaster Generals on Wikipedia matches the list on the USPS website, so the numbering on each of the individual PG pages is wrong. AzXpOmU (talk) 03:48, 12 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
But I should have explained the reasons for my editing, I apologize. AzXpOmU (talk) 03:48, 12 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Earl of Harewood, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gerald Lascelles. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:02, 16 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
