Smile emoji Hi Ayhan Viaene 9360! Thank you for your edits to FIH Women's World Ranking. It looks like you've copied or moved text from FIH Men's World Ranking into that page, and while you are welcome to re-use the content, Wikipedia's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. If you've copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thanks! DanCherek (talk) 22:08, 18 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

The page Tessa Jopp has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appeared to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appeared to be a direct copy from https://blacksticksnz.co.nz/women_team/tessa/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition has been be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, you may contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you may open a discussion at Wikipedia:Deletion Review. — Diannaa (talk) 15:23, 8 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

FIH

[edit]

What is your source for the groups? Kante4 (talk) 21:50, 21 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

By the FIH World Rankings Ayhan Viaene 9360 (talk) 22:02, 21 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
We need a source and not assume it works that way (even though it will be that way most likely). Kante4 (talk) 05:58, 22 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Home team

[edit]

Hey, we always go with the reports. Same with other sports, just because GER hosts the Euro 2024, they are still the "away" team in one of their games as UEFA published it, same as FIH. Kante4 (talk) 17:55, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

2026 UEFA World Cup qualifying groups

[edit]

Can you please explain why you insist on having group pages for 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification (UEFA) now instead of after the conclusion of the Nations League? It might be WP:TOOSOON to have pages for all the groups at this time. Jalen Barks (Woof) 20:27, 8 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Because, i know the group formats and the procedure of the qualifying matches. Ayhan Viaene 9360 (talk) 21:36, 8 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Knowing the formats is not enough for creating the articles. We need more information than just the known format before we start creating separate articles. Take, for example, the CAF qualifying groups. Those weren't even created until the groups were known and finalized. In this case, I would advise waiting until after the draw, which is expected to be scheduled at the conclusion of the current UEFA Nations League. Jalen Barks (Woof) 03:01, 9 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
