Blocked

[edit]

Since your account hasn't edited in over a year, but today it performed vandalism at Steven Mattison, I've blocked it as potentially compromised. If it's not compromised, please explain the creation of that page. Jackmcbarn (talk) 00:49, 27 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

According to Criteria_for_speedy_deletion, subheading G10: Pages that disparage, threaten, intimidate or harass their subject or some other entity, and serve no other purpose be speedily deleted. By this logic, please delete any page edited by a supporter of GamerGate which disparages or harasses female-kind, according to the article posted as a reference within the page you have deleted. Also, since you have deleted the page, you risk legal action, also according to the page you have deleted. I have also contacted the appropriate channels regarding the donations according to the page you have deleted, so that is no longer an issue. Thanks. Ayelis (talk) 01:25, 27 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

That's not an explanation, no, and withdraw your legal threats immediately. Jackmcbarn (talk) 01:37, 27 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, I'm sorry, weren't you aware that people are allowed to edit and reedit their own pages now? According to this (which I had posted in the article which you have deleted), I'm allowed to edit pages about myself. Therefore that page, about myself, was created. And I quote:

"not only do the Gamergaters get to rewrite their own page ... feminists are to be purged en bloc from the encyclopedia"

— Alex Hern, The Guardian

Which means if you respect females as human beings, you should probably notify the administrators so they can purge you, en bloc. And by all means, if Gamergaters are not allowed to rewrite their own page, please let me know so that I understand the rules about rewriting pages about ourselves. But if they are, then please, reinstate my page about myself, and the redirect that leads to it. Thank you for your interest. Ayelis (talk) 23:34, 27 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Merely following the rules as established by the actions of the moderators of Wikipedia

Decline reason:

I'm almost sure there's a more valuable use of my time than dealing with passive-aggressive protest edits. Kuru (talk) 00:49, 28 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I don't get it guys. Why do some established editors get special treatment as far as the ability to create pages about themselves, while other established editors do not? I don't see what I've done wrong. Quit being passive-aggressive yourself and projecting your insecurities onto me.

Decline reason:

You're being disruptive in an attempt to make a point. In addition, you've made legal threats to others through the article and on your talk page here. As such, I've revoked your talk page access. Please submit any additional appeals to UTRS. Mike VTalk 20:19, 29 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
