Judges

[edit]

Hello. Please do not add judges to Political appointments by Donald Trump, as judges have their own page at List of federal judges appointed by Donald Trump. Thanks, Corkythehornetfan (ping me) 17:55, 7 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! Thanks for the clarification! I'm super new to this, clearly.

Sources?

[edit]

Do you have any sources for these edits by any chance? --JustBerry (talk) 16:59, 27 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

All of my edits have sources. The vast majority is from the Press Pool's Kinja.Avilan01 (talk) 17:03, 27 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Do you mind highlighting them with inline citations? --JustBerry (talk) 17:34, 27 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
They are highlighted in the descriptive table of trips. The count at the top is simply from me counting the number of times a state appears in the descriptive table.

Presidential trips made by Trump in 2018 locations map

[edit]

Would you be able to edit the map which has all of the cities marked with dots in the contiguous U.S. which President Trump has visited? If so, could you change the green dot located in Mississippi? It is located around what I believe to be Jackson in the south central part of the state, but Trump actually visited Southhaven, which is located in the northwestern corner of the state, just below Memphis, Tennessee. Also, would you be able to place a magenta dot over Springfield, Missouri, as Trump visited this place in September? If you would be able to make these fixes, it would be much appreciated. Thank you! Count Awesome (talk) 01:28, 7 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Good catch! Thanks for pointing those out. I was the one that initially placed the Southaven, MS dot and I have no idea how it got so off. Avilan01 (talk) 03:22, 8 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Presidential trips made by Trump map

[edit]

Hi Avilan01, I noticed that Fort Meyers, Florida has not been marked on the national map, although places President Trump has traveled to as recently as today have been marked. President Trump attended a rally in Fort Meyers on October 31, and it would be much appreciated if you could mark that city with a green dot. Thanks! 2018 Presidential Trips made by Trump map

[edit]

Hi Avilan01, I noticed that you recently updated the map of locations on the contiguous U.S. where Trump has visited, and I was wondering if you could mark Ft. Meyers in southwestern Florida with a green dot, as the he held a rally in that city on October 31? If you could, it would be much appreciated. Thanks! Count Awesome (talk) 23:42, 30 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Good catch! Thanks for the heads up! October was tough to stay on top of. Avilan01 (talk) 16:23, 8 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Presidential trips made by Donald Trump in 2019 map

[edit]

Hi Avilon01, I have a request for map of the Locations in the contiguous United States that President Donald Trump has visited in 2019. I was hoping you could recreate this map as similar to last year and the year before, where there is a map of the contiguous United States with the locations visited by President Trump being marked with a colored dot which represents the month of the visit. If you could do this, would you place dots on the locations of McAllen, Texas, New Orleans, Louisiana, and Arlington, Virginia? If you could make this map, it would be much appreciated. Thanks! Count Awesome (talk) 19:07, 20 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I'm trying to figure this out myself. I didn't make the original file last year (2018). Once the file is created I know how to update the map with colored dots corresponding to the locations. I reached out to the person who appears to have made the map last year for assistance. Avilan01 (talk) 05:19, 21 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I got your message, Avilan01. Thank you for reminding me. I will start on that this week. -Polly7423

2019 map template

[edit]

I created the template and it's ready to go. I am waiting to add the template to the actual page, but I had to put in a request before I can actually edit it.

Here's the name of the template if you want to search for it on Wikipedia: Template:Pres.Trump USA Travels (2019)

Thanks for letting me know, as I had forgotten -Polly7423 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Polly7423 (talkcontribs) 01:59, 22 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

No, thank you! I tried to figure out how to create it myself and couldn't quite get it. For future reference, how did you create the template? Thanks again!Avilan01 (talk) 05:13, 22 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Glad to help! What you do is create a new Wikipedia page, call it a Template, then I copied all the text from the 2018 version and then pasted it on the new template and just made it fit for 2019. -Polly 7423
