Word from the author
[edit]My name is Jeremy Williams, I am the author responsible for creating the character Avian Mosquito. I created him as the main character for a novel, 20/20 and Blind. I began writing the novel in 2007, but he didn't get a name until 2008.
These are the only pictures of myself I have.
[edit]-
This is me sometime between 2000 and 2002. I Should have been somewhere between 8 and 10 back then. I have no idea what I was doing behind my back, it was quite some time ago.

This is my brother, Jack, in 2006. I'm sorry it isn't a recent photo, but this is the only picture I have of him alone.
-
This is my little sister, Jennifer, last year. I apologize for poor picture quality, she took it using my cellphone.

Left-right: Jack Jr, Jennifer, Marc, Nancy, †Lou, Jack III, Mary, Me, Bill, Charity, Anthony, and Donald. Marc&Nancy are my aunt and uncle, as are Charity&Donald. Anthony is my cousin. Mary and Bill are my grandparents, Lou is my grandmother's brother.

Physics problem: If a 85kg object is moving at 13m/s, what is it's kinetic energy? What is it's momentum? What happens when it hits a steel gate? The answers may surprise you...
One small issue.
[edit]This bot has currently tagged all the images I uploaded for my user page as "copyright status unknown" which is fine in and of itself. I guess it really is my fault for not specifying, but it seems ridiculously obvious that pictures of my family would have no copyright. These images will be deleted by default in two weeks unless I fix the copyright status on them.
Due to issues with my computer (sine when has it ever worked?) I am incapable of editing. This means the images will be deleted in two weeks, and there isn't a damn thing I can do. I would just re-upload them with copyright status intact, but that would get my file suspended. This robotic shadow-jumping is ridiculous.
I know this is just a tempest in a teapot, but it's my teapot. Avianmosquito (talk) 05:52, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
- It may be obvious to you, but unfortunately, copyright law doesn't work that way. If you'll provide me with the information we need (who took the picture, when, and what license they're releasing it under (it sounds like either public domain or Creative Commons attribution, depending on if the photographer wants credit)), I'll update the image pages for you. --Carnildo (talk) 07:52, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
- I've marked File:My_Brother-2006.jpg as PD-self, but since you weren't the photographer for the others, I need confirmation that you've got permission from the photographers to release the images into the public domain. Under current copyright law, everything is copyrighted as soon as it's created. I think automatic copyright is the second-biggest mistake in copyright law (the biggest being the insanely long copyright terms), but it's the way things work. --Carnildo (talk) 06:55, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, your sister is cute :) Best Scieberking (talk) 23:03, 30 January 2010 (UTC)
