re: Welcome to Wikipedia!
Thank you. I've already submitted a question in Wikipedia talk:Pending changes#Not as explained in this help page ( If there are pending changes awaiting review, there will be a dropdown box next to the article title). I hope that that was the right place to ask in. --109.53.231.99 (talk) 21:40, 1 June 2014 (UTC)
- I think that you were right in that the pending version was by yourself from what I can gather from your question. DJAMP4444 (talk) 21:46, 1 June 2014 (UTC)
Your speedy deletion nomination of List of killings by law enforcement officers in the United States, June 2014
I just thought I would drop you a note to say that I removed the CSD tag you placed on this article, for the reason that the website that was "duplicated", http://www.digplanet.com/wiki/List_of_killings_by_law_enforcement_officers_in_the_United_States%2C_June_2014, was merely a Wikipedia mirror site. Before tagging an article for speedy, you should check for all possibilities. Thanks. G S Palmer (talk) 15:09, 4 June 2014 (UTC)

Hi, with regards to Sagiv Cohen (musician), see talk page there. Removed your tag as it is not applicable. No insult intended. --Piz d'Es-Cha (talk) 22:59, 4 June 2014 (UTC)

Thanks for answering my question and pointing out the violation. Now I feel like an idiot because it was right there in front of me and I missed it. I can't finish this coffee soon enough ... (it's the beginning of my day over here). I figure you don't mind but I still feel like I should apologize nonetheless for making you clarify the obvious. Daniel Case (talk) 12:00, 16 June 2014 (UTC)

Your rollback request
Hi DJAMP4444, I have granted rollback rights to your account in accordance with your request. Please be aware that rollback should be used to revert vandalism, spam and blatantly unconstructive edits; using it to revert any other type of edit - such as by revert-warring or reverting edits you disagree with - can lead to it being removed from your account...sometimes without any warning, as some admins do not give a warning if they become aware of any misuse. If you think an edit should require a reason for reverting, use a manual edit summary instead of using the rollback tool. For practice, you may wish to review Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. Acalamari 21:00, 16 June 2014 (UTC)
I am exercising caution and there's not a conflict of interest.
Please stop reverting my revisions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.80.79.34 (talk) 20:56, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
- You must provide a source for a biography of a living person. Otherwise such edits could be construed to be vandalism. Arfæst Ealdwrítere (talk) 21:27, 19 June 2014 (UTC)

- Hello, Jordan and thanks for the WikiLove. I just wanted to inform you that Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, and, as a consequence, is not an acceptable forum for unsourced claims and/or joke edits. If you need any help, just ask. Arfæst Ealdwrítere (talk) 22:18, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
- I always wanted a Barnstar but I never imagined that I would get one from a vandal. Arfæst Ealdwrítere (talk) 23:26, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
Sorry about mate, was a mistake I was editing a section but my internet was running slow after I submitted the edit so copied and pasted and not realised that I delete the main body of text!--Snooker155 (talk) 23:37, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
- No problems mate. Arfæst Ealdwrítere (talk) 23:40, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
Conservative Friends of Russia
Hello, (talk) - apologies if I did not include an edit reason to my edits. This was a mistake, as I was addressing a number off issues User:Solarra had suggested in terms of article organisation and missing sections. Is it possible to restore the changes I have made now that you know the reason behind these changes? Thanks User:CBF28 — Preceding undated comment added 10:15, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
- Done. No problems: just needed an explanation. Also, remember to sign your posts by putting 4 tildes (~) at the end of your comments on talk pages. Arfæst Ealdwrítere (talk) 10:19, 20 June 2014 (UTC)

difference between revisions
Hi, you removed my changes I made to This Is All Yours. I added all lengths of tracks and removed one band member, because the band is now a trio. Could you revert my changes? http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:83.161.152.92&diff=cur — Preceding unsigned comment added by Noutd (talk • contribs) 10:17, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
Not done You don't seem to have edited that page at all (unless you are User: 83.161.152.92 ). Please clarify. Arfæst Ealdwrítere (talk) 10:21, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
I am sorry, I noticed I was not logged in. I am that IP. Not a frequent Wiki user, but a friend of alt-J and would like to update information on this album, because the track lengths are now known. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Noutd (talk • contribs) 10:23, 20 June 2014 (UTC)

I guess you don't like citations. Little things called facts getting to you? - 110.20.126.106 (talk) 12:25, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
- Everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia. However, edits must conform to Wikipedia's policies, particularly when it comes to maintaining a neutral point of view whether it be through tone, wording, or anything else in which an opinion is expressed. Arfæst Ealdwrítere (talk) 12:32, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
- So not, in fact, an act of vandalism then. Just you think it's not neutral. Ever read the policy on no personal attacks? - 110.20.126.106 (talk) 12:35, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
- I gave the warning when all I had to go by was the edit itself, which I initially interpreted to be vandalism. After you responded to explain yourself, I decided to change my mind about your edits given the new evidence. In short, I reacted to a changing situation. Arfæst Ealdwrítere (talk) 12:40, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
- Nope, you said it was probably vandalism. And you used a vandalism template to do so. - 110.20.126.106 (talk) 12:46, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
- I initially said that it was vandalism, which, given the information available at the time, it appeared to be. Arfæst Ealdwrítere (talk) 12:51, 20 June 2014 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Paseka Motsoeneng
Hello Arfæst Ealdwrítere. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Paseka Motsoeneng, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Article claims coverage in reliable sources. Thank you. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 15:15, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
Rahul Gandhi Edit
Hello,
I will right now assume all the things that you have posted on the guidelines, such as good faith.
i will assume that you are here to share facts.
i will assume that you know wikipedia is a repository of information, however it may sound to others.
i posted what i felt was the truth, rahul gandhi was smiling like he was happy while announcing his party's defeat. i should've added links. which i will now.
let the readers decide whether it is constructive or not. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 175.156.72.215 (talk) 15:28, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
- That is not how Wikipedia operates. I recommend that you read Wikipedia's policies on original research and on how to maintain a neutral point of view whilst editing. Also, please remember to sign your posts on talk pages with 4 tildes (~). Arfæst Ealdwrítere (talk) 15:33, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
John Terry
/* Aftermath */
John Terry was found not guilty, therefore Anton was NOT a victim
It is not correct to compare John Terry to Luis Suárez. Anton was not a victim as he did not hear anything and the complaint came from a member of the public 5 hours after the game. John Terry was then cleared of all charges and proven innocent. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.89.158.197 (talk) 17:57, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
- That's fine, you just need to add the source to the article. In future please sign your posts on talk pages with 4 tildes (~). Arfæst Ealdwrítere (talk) 18:23, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
