Changing types of English
In a recent edit to the page Pakistan Movement, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.
For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to India, use Indian English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author of the article used.
In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 08:33, 25 April 2017 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Xudong Zheng
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Xudong Zheng requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. - @Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi: How do you have a glowing username if I may ask?
- How about something like
- -? — O Fortuna semper crescis, aut decrescis 15:47, 27 June 2017 (UTC)
- @Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi: Lovely! Figured it's the span tag. Now how do I have it as my username? Or do you manually write it down each time you reply?
- No, you can make it automatic. Go to your Preferences (top right of this page) > Signature > copy the raw text up there into the box > and make sure to check fill the box that says 'Treat the above as wiki markup' > Save page. Incidentally if you're a coder, then I guess WP:WIKIMARKUP is the place for you. You'll understand it. I don't ;) — O Fortuna semper crescis, aut decrescis 16:05, 27 June 2017 (UTC)
- By the way, to make your new sig appear when you post, just type four tildes( '~~~~' ) at the end. This is policy; see WP:SIG guideline for details. Cheers, — O Fortuna semper crescis, aut decrescis 16:21, 27 June 2017 (UTC)
- @Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi: Thank you so much! Trying some styles. Dawood Khan 16:37, 27 June 2017 (UTC)
- Clever :) but I forgot to mention a couple of things- WP:SIGAPP and WP:COLOUR- regarding the importance of how other editors see your signature- particularly the poorly-sighted, for example. The aim is to have bold contrasts in a sig so they stand out well. Thanks for the barnstar btw. Much preferred to teahouse messages ;) — O Fortuna semper crescis, aut decrescis 16:49, 27 June 2017 (UTC)
- @Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi: Understood. Thanks for all the help. Have an awesome day! :P Dawood Khan 17:01, 27 June 2017 (UTC)

AFCP
You've have been here for less than 90 days and doesn't qualify for being a AFC reviewer. Please gain more experience and then re-add yourself when you meet the criteria. Thanks, KGirlTrucker81 huh? what I've been doing 17:35, 27 June 2017 (UTC)

Please stop over-reaching
Hello, Dawood! I notice that you have lately been doing a lot of things that are way beyond your knowledge and ability. You tried to nominate something for deletion, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Draft:Lisa Mansour, without any idea of how to do it or what the criteria for deletion are. You sent an inappropriate notice to User:Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi because you "wanted to press the button for no reason." You added a "lead too short" tag to an article, Emporium Mall, that didn't even have a lead. You proposed an article, Evolok, for deletion, inappropriately because it was already at AfD. You have already been told not to try to review new articles because you don't have nearly enough experience to do that. You really need to stop over-reaching, and do things within your ability that are actually helpful to the encyclopedia. You first registered two months ago, but you are still pretty much brand new. When you first got here you did helpful things like fix misspellings and grammar errors; that was great. Then you took a two-month break, and when you came back you immediately began trying to do things that you aren't yet ready to do. The very first thing you did was to request Rollback, which was quite properly denied; you don't have nearly the experience for that tool. Then you started doing things like what I listed above. It's good if you want to learn new things, but take it gradually and actually learn how to do them. Read the relevant guidelines (for example, WP:Deletion policy) and take a look at how people are doing something before trying to do it yourself. For example: if you want to learn Articles for deletion, take a look at the WP:AFD pages where such articles are listed, see how they are discussed, what kind of criteria people are using for deletion. I do believe you are trying in good faith to help Wikipedia, but please learn how to do things before you start doing them. There are lots of resources and lots of people that will help you learn. --MelanieN (talk) 17:28, 30 June 2017 (UTC)
- P.S. For areas where you might be able to contribute constructively and find other editors with similar interests, check out Wikipedia:WikiProject Pakistan. --MelanieN (talk) 17:35, 30 June 2017 (UTC)
- You're right. I guess I need some time before I jump to things. Will keep this in mind. Thank you so much. Appreciated. Dawood Khan 10:52, 1 July 2017 (UTC)

File permission problem with File:Hack Forums Logo.png
Thanks for uploading File:Hack Forums Logo.png, which you've attributed to Jesse LaBrocca. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 11:57, 12 June 2018 (UTC)

Hi. Please stop adding spaces in the headings, such as this edit. Per this, unless there is an issue with the existing style, it should not be changed. Thanks. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 12:18, 14 July 2018 (UTC)
